Results usually last three to four weeks depending on your hair growth cycle, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hairs over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 3-4 weeks for consistently smooth results.
Some discomfort is normal as hair is removed from the root, but most clients describe it as quick, manageable twinges. We use warm wax, expert technique, and calming aftercare to minimize pain. Numbing topical products can be used on request.
Arrive with clean, dry skin; avoid applying lotions, oils, or heavy creams beforehand. Trim longer hair to about a quarter inch if needed. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid sun exposure or retinoids to reduce sensitivity and improve results.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Wear loose clothing and apply soothing aloe or our recommended post-wax oil. Gently exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and follow esthetician instructions for best results.
Yes in many cases, but we assess skin condition during consultation. Active acne, open wounds, certain skin conditions, or recent chemical treatments may delay service. We can recommend alternatives or patch tests and tailor techniques for sensitive or reactive skin.
Many pregnant or breastfeeding clients receive stomach waxing, but consult your obstetrician first. Increased skin sensitivity and circulation can heighten discomfort. We avoid waxing over certain areas late in pregnancy and can recommend gentle alternatives if needed.
