Get answers to common questions about Stomach IPL.
Most clients require 6–8 treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Individual needs vary based on hair color, thickness, and skin type. Maintenance sessions may be recommended annually to sustain reduced hair growth.
IPL destroys active hair follicles, producing long-term reduction. While many experience permanent loss in treated hairs, hormonal factors can cause regrowth. Periodic touch-ups keep results optimal; your technician will recommend a personalized maintenance schedule.
Most clients report mild snapping sensations with easily managed discomfort. Our cooling handpieces and topical soothing measures minimize irritation. There’s virtually no downtime—redness may occur briefly, but you can typically return to normal activities immediately after the appointment.
Suitable candidates have darker pigment in their hair and light to medium skin tones for best results. A consultation and patch test determine safety; some skin tones or medications may require alternative approaches or pre-treatment guidance.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks and stop self-tanning products. Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your visit. Disclose medications and recent procedures during consultation to ensure safe, effective treatment and accurate settings.
Temporary redness, mild swelling, or follicular bumps are common and typically resolve within hours to days. Rarely, pigment changes or blistering can occur in sensitive skin. Following post-care instructions, sun avoidance, and using soothing products reduces risk and speeds recovery.
