Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart. Exact numbers vary by hair coarseness, growth cycles, and hormonal factors. We'll create a personalized treatment plan during your consultation.

Treatments feel like quick snaps or warm pulses; most clients report mild discomfort only. We use cooling and can apply topical numbing upon request to increase comfort during the session.

IPL works best on lighter skin tones with darker hair because pigment absorbs the light. Darker skin tones require an assessment and may need alternative lasers. We perform a consultation and patch test to determine suitability.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks. Do not wax or tweeze for four to six weeks; shave 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid retinoids and exfoliating treatments the week prior.

After treatment avoid direct sun and use SPF 30+ daily. Expect some redness and light flaking; do not pick. Avoid hot tubs and intense workouts for 48 hours. Moisturize and follow scheduled follow-up sessions.

IPL provides long-term hair reduction and many hairs are permanently diminished. Some regrowth can occur due to hormones or dormant follicles activating; occasional maintenance sessions keep results smooth and predictable.
